Standard Panoramas are shot using a single exposure for each of the twelve frames of the panorama.
While this produces an acceptable, sometimes excellent result. There are often dark spots and blown
out windows to contend with. Outdoors ares of deep shade will cause extremely dark areas or severely
blown out areas on bright spots such as pool decks.

HDRI stands for High Dynamic Range Imaging. In HDRI Panoramas three (or more) exposures are made
for each of the twelve panels of the panorama. These are then combined in a photo editing program to
create a single image for each panel that has an extreme range of exposure allowing dark areas to be
highlighted and bright areas to be darkened giving the image a even exposure across the entire
spectrum.
